Buckingham Palace — Worth It?

One thing that is a must see whenever you are in London is Buckingham Palace – is it really a must see? That is what I am constantly asking myself and from the reviews that I have read, it is actually a must see whenever you are in London. Personally, I think that the pictures alone of Buckingham Palace are breathtakingly beautiful and seeing it in the second National Treasure movie was awesome.

This vast mansion has been around for quite some time now and the exterior is as beautiful as the interior and I have to say that if you want an attraction to stand out — Buckingham Palace does it. This beautiful palace is modern yet chic and totally sophisticated.

You want luxury, that is what Buckingham Palace is all about.

Going To Kenya On Vacation!

When it comes to taking a vacation – there are a ton of different places that I can recommend, but I can tell you for sure that Kenya is actually one of the best places in the world to take a vacation. Not only will you be able to take a vacation with yourself but with your family as well!

The hotels in Kenya though, let’s talk about those. InterContinental Nairobi Hotel is certainly one of the best hotels in Kenya and I can tell you that this hotel is in a fantastic location, looks amazing and certainly offers some of the best services.

The sights that you can see around Kenya is absolutely incredible and there are so, so, so many things to do as well.

Valentine’s Day is almost here people and are your ready? I know that I can not wait for it to get here and I am here to report on one of the best places to go this weekend – the City Of Love! Paris France is by far the best place to go if you are looking to go away for Valentine’s Day. Not only does this city go all out but it is absolutely beautiful in February.

If you want luxury and want to surprise your lover, Paris is definitely a way that it can be done. If you have not booked your tickets yet, what are you waiting for? There are a ton of different hotels that you can stay at and the ticket prices are just right as this is off-peak season, which is perfect.

Paris people … seriously, it is one of the most romantic places if you are really looking to wow your sweetheart!

Pets – I have four and I absolutely love them but honestly, what is the one thing that you hate about having pets? For me, it is the fact that they can never go on vacation with me. Well folks, because pets are becoming so popular these days, I can tell you that many people are actually taking their pets with them and hotels are just going to have to get used to that.

Hotels are slowly but surely changing their policies in regards to pets but there are some things that you need to before you bring your pets along. The first things that you need to remember is that if you are going to bring your dog or cat with you on your vacation … you will be paying more. Hotels will accept your pets – for a charge, remember that.

Next, bringing your pets with you is honestly something that takes planning, so keep that in mind.

When you think about it – Chicago is definitely the destination for anyone that is looking to go some place fun, some place exciting and some place last minute. By far, Chicago is premier destination whenever you are looking to get away just for a little while. There are so many fun things that Chicago has that you should be able to explore and experience – for example, the unrivalled jazz and blues legends that were born in Chicago.

Also, the skyscrapers are absolutely modern and so beautiful that they truly so make the city skyline something spectacular. Also, if you are looking for something different and interesting, there are a ton of different museums around Chicago and also some beautiful countryside that you can drive through.

The windy city truly does have something for everyone – and if you are looking for a last minute place to go, this is it!

When you think about Mexico City, it is something that is not only beautiful in the scenery, but the brand new St. Regis that just opened there is honestly going to be one of the premier sites for you to stay at. The best thing about this particular St. Regis is not only the fact that you are going to be staying in a brand new hotel, but it is a beautiful hotel. All of the interior designs are breathtaking and the colors that were used are beautiful!

Green and purple are the hues that you will find throughout this particular hotel and the lobby is done up in some beautiful colors as well. The cool thing about this particular St. Regis is the fact that a lot of the décor is really taken from the Mexican traditions and a lot of it is inspired by that.

When it comes to choosing a vacation spot – it is very difficult to pick a spot most of the time as there are so many factors to truly consider. When you think about it, choosing a vacation destination is almost like choosing a house – however you do not have to live in your vacation spot. The reason for the comparison is because some of the same questions that you ask yourself about purchasing a house should be some of the same questions you should be asking about your destination.

For example, your budget is going to play a huge role in where you are going to be going on vacation. After all, if you do not have the budget for Hawaii – you might have to take somewhere a little less expensive. Another thing that you have to consider is your transportation – do you like to fly?

These are very important questions that you want to think about before you decide on your vacation destination.

While I know that I am supposed to be blogging about last minute vacations – I just wanted to take some time out and actually touch base on Hawaii and the Hawaii Floating Lantern Ceremony. This incredible ceremony is something that is so beautiful, so awesome and it is honestly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I think that if you do happen to go to Hawaii … you should take advantage of it. It happens in May and it is so beautiful, it is truly a sight that should be seen.

Hawaii itself, while expensive in some aspects, is not all that expensive in others. For example, did you know that you can actually go to Hawaii on a budget and stick to it if you look online before you go? There are a ton of different resources available online that you can use that will really help you in the long run of sticking to your budget.

Hawaii is something that is so beautiful and so awesome and it is definitely some place to go if you are feeling down and out. It’ll perk you right up!

St. Regis Atlanta Opens: It’s Really Nice!

While I know that the St. Regis is not a hotel that most people on a budget would stay, but think about it – when do you ever get to pamper yourself a bit? This 151-room hotel is perfect for those last minute vacations that you are just looking to get away to and pamper yourself. They have a Spa and a beautiful restaurant that you can eat your heart out at. Some of the coolest things about the rooms themselves though are:

- Floor-to-ceiling windows
- Free bottled water
- Foam pillows upon request
- DVD players
- Bathrooms with double vanities, LCD TVs and marble soaking tubs
- iPod docking stations
- Satin clothes hangars

All of that for just about $263 a night? All right, I know that is pretty expensive, but it is the Regis and how often do you get to stay in a hotel like this one? Not often!
