While you might not be able to stay right on the strip, there are plenty of cheaper hotels just off of the strip that usually have a free shuttle to the strip, so you could opt for one of those options and to be honest … the hotels are really nice.  As far as the airfare?  Combine it with the hotel and you will get a fantastic deal – or watch out for the specials that are always on airline websites.

Vegas is a trip of a lifetime and you do not have to have a lot of money in order to go … unless of course you plan on gambling, but there are plenty of things that you can do besides gambling away all of your money.

When it comes to choosing a vacation spot – it is very difficult to pick a spot most of the time as there are so many factors to truly consider.  When you think about it, choosing a vacation destination is almost like choosing a house – however you do not have to live in your vacation spot.  The reason for the comparison is because some of the same questions that you ask yourself about purchasing a house should be some of the same questions you should be asking about your destination.

For example, your budget is going to play a huge role in where you are going to be going on vacation.  After all, if you do not have the budget for Hawaii – you might have to take somewhere a little less expensive.  Another thing that you have to consider is your transportation – do you like to fly?
