In this day and age, everyone is looking for a deal – everyone and to be honest, if you are the type of person that can drop everything and take a plane same day on a whim, you should absolutely take advantage of some of the deals that airlines are offering.  All of the internet, there are a ton of last minute deals that airlines are practically giving away airfare in order to get passengers to bite.

Sometimes a last minute trip can be good for really anyone – especially if you are stressed, however, you need to decide on your location before anything.  Obviously if you live in the US, you might not want to stay there, however, there are quite a few airlines that will lower their prices if you are going from NY to Chicago or NY to Detroit – or maybe you are looking for warm, you could go from point A to point B for super cheap.

The key: look online a whole lot!  That way you can make sure that you do not miss any airline deals!
