When it comes to taking a vacation – there are a ton of different places that I can recommend, but I can tell you for sure that Kenya is actually one of the best places in the world to take a vacation. Not only will you be able to take a vacation with yourself but with your family as well!

The hotels in Kenya though, let’s talk about those. InterContinental Nairobi Hotel is certainly one of the best hotels in Kenya and I can tell you that this hotel is in a fantastic location, looks amazing and certainly offers some of the best services.

The sights that you can see around Kenya is absolutely incredible and there are so, so, so many things to do as well.

When you think about Mexico City, it is something that is not only beautiful in the scenery, but the brand new St. Regis that just opened there is honestly going to be one of the premier sites for you to stay at. The best thing about this particular St. Regis is not only the fact that you are going to be staying in a brand new hotel, but it is a beautiful hotel. All of the interior designs are breathtaking and the colors that were used are beautiful!

Green and purple are the hues that you will find throughout this particular hotel and the lobby is done up in some beautiful colors as well. The cool thing about this particular St. Regis is the fact that a lot of the décor is really taken from the Mexican traditions and a lot of it is inspired by that.

If you want to get the true experience of St. Regis, you should definitely make sure that you check out this beautiful, luxury – brand new St. Regis hotel!

Hawaii Floating Lantern Ceremony: What Is It?

While I know that I am supposed to be blogging about last minute vacations – I just wanted to take some time out and actually touch base on Hawaii and the Hawaii Floating Lantern Ceremony. This incredible ceremony is something that is so beautiful, so awesome and it is honestly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I think that if you do happen to go to Hawaii … you should take advantage of it. It happens in May and it is so beautiful, it is truly a sight that should be seen.

Hawaii itself, while expensive in some aspects, is not all that expensive in others. For example, did you know that you can actually go to Hawaii on a budget and stick to it if you look online before you go? There are a ton of different resources available online that you can use that will really help you in the long run of sticking to your budget.

Hawaii is something that is so beautiful and so awesome and it is definitely some place to go if you are feeling down and out. It’ll perk you right up!

St. Regis Atlanta Opens: It’s Really Nice!

While I know that the St. Regis is not a hotel that most people on a budget would stay, but think about it – when do you ever get to pamper yourself a bit? This 151-room hotel is perfect for those last minute vacations that you are just looking to get away to and pamper yourself. They have a Spa and a beautiful restaurant that you can eat your heart out at. Some of the coolest things about the rooms themselves though are:

- Floor-to-ceiling windows
- Free bottled water
- Foam pillows upon request
- DVD players
- Bathrooms with double vanities, LCD TVs and marble soaking tubs
- iPod docking stations
- Satin clothes hangars

All of that for just about $263 a night? All right, I know that is pretty expensive, but it is the Regis and how often do you get to stay in a hotel like this one? Not often!

Finding A Great Hotel Deal: What To Look For!

One thing that I have noticed lately with hotels is that they are cutting corners and charging for things that a lot of people would consider to be free. For example, a lot of hotels are charging for internet, whether you are looking for WiFi or you are looking for wired and some hotels are now charging for breakfast and honestly, that is something that should be standard.

So if you are going on vacation, there are a couple things that you should absolutely check into before you book your rooms at a hotel. One, you want to make sure that you find a hotel that is going to offer up free internet and two you want to make sure that they offer complimentary breakfast.

These two things can make a huge difference whenever you are on a budget – breakfast for four can cost upwards of forty dollars each day and you can save that money for something else!
